- fruit of your choice — 1 kg
- sugar — 1 kg
Steps
- Cut the fruit in small pieces and place it in a pot.
- Cook on the stove, on low fire.
- As soon as some juice collects on the bottom of the pot, add sugar and stir until it is no longer visible.
- Keep the pot on low fire, stirring often and in particular the bottom, which will otherwise burn very easily.
- Jam must boil for at least 2 hours.
- If fruit pieces are still visible, you may blend them.
- Pour boiling-hot jam in glass jars and close them immediately.
