Potato purée
Purée may be used as a main course, or as a side dish: for example, it is very good with beans. Ingredients below ar calculated for the main course, they should be halved for the side dish.

Ingredients
- potatoes — 1 kg
- milk — 200 ml
- butter — 3 tsp
- grated cheese (optional)
Steps
- Peel the potatoes and cut them to small pieces.
- Put them in a pot and cover with water.
- Bring to boil and cook until potatoes are soft.
- Drain and mash with a fork.
- Warm up milk, but don't let it boil.
- Still on the fire, add butter and mashed potatoes, and optionally grated cheese, and stir until uniform.
- Keep stirring on the fire to thicken as you like.
