Ingredients

  • chicken
  • butter
  • soy sauce
  • honey

Steps

  1. Place the chicken in a bowl, season or marinate briefly and let rest for about 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat the air fryer or oven. For an air fryer: cook the chicken at 200°C for about 15 minutes, turning once, until cooked through. For an oven: bake at 200°C for about 25 minutes, until cooked through.
  3. While the chicken cooks, make the honey butter sauce: melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, then stir in the soy sauce, honey and a splash of water.
  4. Simmer the sauce for about 4–6 minutes, reducing until it becomes glossy and sticky.
  5. Add the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce, letting it heat together briefly so the chicken is well glazed.
  6. Serve the glazed chicken with rice and vegetables.
